Besides classic tutoring, we offer specialized language courses with exam preparation.
From your first word to a certificate
Our language courses are for everyone who wants to truly understand and speak a new language – whether for an exchange semester, your career, a move to Germany or simply out of interest in the culture. Our tutors take time for your questions and explain everything at your own pace. Every course is built in levels that follow on from each other:
Beginner course
Starting from scratch? No problem. In the beginner course you practise correct pronunciation and learn the basics you need for everyday life – from introducing yourself and talking about your day to getting around, shopping and making appointments.
Advanced course
Already comfortable in everyday conversations? We help you explain complex topics, express yourself formally and confidently share your opinion. For Chinese, a business focus is available on request; for German, we work on the vocabulary for your job or field of study.
Exam preparation
Official certificates are often required to study or work abroad. We prepare you for all six levels of the Chinese HSK and take care of your exam registration. Our German courses include preparation for official language exams, with the exam costs already included.
Group course or individual course?
In a group course you learn in a small group, with an individual learning plan and constant contact with your tutor – ideal if you enjoy learning with others and staying motivated together.
In an individual course everything revolves around you: you choose your hours freely and get a learning plan tailored exactly to your goals. For German, a one-month intensive course is also possible; both German options include 24 hours of lessons and can be paid in instalments. Prices are available on request.
Frequently asked questions about our language courses
- Do I need any prior knowledge?
- No. Our beginner courses start from zero. If you already know some of the language, we will work out together which level is the right starting point for you.
- How long does it take to reach my first exam?
- That depends on your pace. As a guideline, preparing for HSK 1 takes about four months on average, and HSK 2 around three months.
- Where do German lessons take place?
- Our German courses can be taken from home, online or at our office in Essen – just tell us what works best for you.
- Can I try a lesson first?
- Yes. Simply request a trial lesson via our contact form – that way you get to know your tutor and our teaching style before you decide.
